The simulation runs in your browser

FlowTrace is an interactive simulation and visualization. The main experience animates illustrative request flows. The FlowTrace Lab uses client-side instrumentation that masks input values and does not capture body content, Authorization headers or text you type. The Lab demo endpoints ignore the request body. FlowTrace is not a monitoring tool and does not track or record your real browsing.

Cookies and consent

FlowTrace shows a cookie consent banner. You can review and change your choices through the cookie settings available in the app footer.

Contact and newsletter forms

If you submit the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, the details you enter (such as your email address and message) are sent to our server and delivered by email so we can respond to you or send the updates you requested. Basic technical metadata such as your IP address and the time of the request may be included to handle it and limit abuse. If you do not use these forms, no such data is submitted.

Third-party services

The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests those files from Google and Google may receive your IP address. Messages from the contact and newsletter forms are delivered through an email (SMTP) provider that processes them to send the mail.
